I am Md Abdul Kader Sagar and I am a Visiting Fellow at The National Institute of Health (NIH/NIBIB). Previously I worked as Postdoctoral Research Associate in Laboratory for Optical and Computational Instrumentation (LOCI) under the supervision of Dr Kevin Eliceiri. I obtained my PhD in Biomedical Engineering in University of Wisconsin Madison. I finished my Masters in Electrical Engineering from the same university in Summer 2015. I work on developing fluorescence microscopy technique to understand cellular micro-environment better. I focus on Fluorescence-lifetime imaging microscopy (FLIM) for cancer detection and metabolic mapping. I develop software to acquire fluorescence data and analyze FLIM. I have worked in Samsung Bangladesh R&D Center (SBRC) as Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer for 2.5 years. I worked on Image compression, motion detection and hardware implementation of the algorithm. I have graduated From Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering(EEE) from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology(BUET).
