Awards
IEEE President's change the world
My team was the finalist of the IEEE Presidents' Change the World Competition. We built a "Low cost Neonatal Incubator : An optimum solution for premature newborn babies in third world countries". We were beside the top ranked universities in the world such as Caltech, Carnegie Mellon as well as ahead of some globally reputed university. The most widely circulated Bengali daily of Bangladesh(The Prothom-alo) published an article about this achievement. You can find it here.
IEEEXtreme 24- hour Programming Contest
I participated in IEEEXtreme 24- hour Programming Contest and our team was awarded honorable mention for solving 5 problems.
Cisco national skills competition
I have also completed CCNA(Cisco Certified Network Associate) from Department of Computer Science and Engineering of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology. We participated in the 2nd national Cisco Skills Competition and was 2nd among all the universities nationwide.(Picture: My team: I am the middle one of the prize recieving group)
Scholarships
I have received numerous scholarships.
Scholarship in 1st grade- Kindergarten scholarship(This is awarded to a few students among many thousand kindergarten students)
Junior scholarship in 8th grade(I got scholarship in talent-pool among tens of thousand of student appearing from our districts)
Dean's list scholarship in 3 academic years in undergraduate studies.
Merit scholarship based on result in most of the term in undergraduate studies.
British council
I participated in British Council Teaching Center, Dhaka for a General English course and was placed in upper intermediate group after placement test and eventually stood first after the final exam.
Others
Apart from these I have attended multifarious workshop and seminars covering wide area of topic and genre. I also have participated in many painting competition in childhood and won district level awards. In India(St Augustine's School, Kurseong), I was awarded best student in class for my all-round performance.
